Mixed Use Development Maylor Street Cork City

DMA Consulting Engineers provided civil engineering input in support of the planning application for the redevelopment of a city centre site. The proposal consisted of

• Reconfiguration of a portion of the ground floor retail element
• Proposed above the retail on the Maylor Street side is 6 no. storeys of residential development proposing the construction of 32 no. apartments comprising 9 no. studio apartments, 11 no. 1 bed apartments and 12 no. 2 bed apartments

DMA Consulting Engineers provided detailed civil and structural designs in support of the planning application including the preparation of a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SuDS) and a Site Specific Flood Assessment Report.

The proposed development was granted planning permission by Cork City Council.
